 Artist,
born in Canada, Quebec. He settled permanently in
Montreal in 1973. After working as an DJ he began
playing in 1989 without any formal training, making
a major impact in 1997 with his 'Three Figures at
the Base of a Style Techno'.
Although the initial inspiration for his work was
Surrealism, he made frequent use of sound annexed
from old masters, usually translated into blurred
and gory sounds imprisoned in unspecific, architectural
settings. A technical perfectionist, funky destroyed
a great deal of his prolific output. He is widely
regarded as Canada's most important post-Techno artist.
